My name is Trudy and I am an Airedale Terrier. I was born in Illinois and I moved to Ocala Florida in May of 1992. Like all good terriers, I immediately set out to become the leader of the pack. After all, I was 8 weeks old and I knew everything.

Ouch!

As you can see, I made my move to be the Alpha Dog at only 8 weeks. I was licking the wax out of Grandpa's ear and I got a good bite in. Notice how he turned his eyes away and laid his ears back in a classic submissive pose. I was on my way to the top!

I went across the street to the horses and straighten them out. The horses think that they are in charge because they are so big. I taught this one different! I was too short to reach the horse's face, so my assistant held me up so I could give it a good dominating stare! I know it doesn't look like that in this picture. I had to turn my head away so I could breathe. That horse had bad breath.

There were other challenges to my authority. There are some things in the yard that spray water. I attack them when they do that. I killed three plastic ones. The new brass ones are tougher, but I still give them a good beating when they dare to spray water in my yard.

Sometimes I just like to relax under a tree with my frisbee. The Alpha Dog has flex hours and can nap whenever they want.

I have a buddy named Colt. He is an Australian Shepherd. His mom owns Professional Dog Training, here in Ocala. She used to train dogs for movies and TV.
I have to kick Colt's butt once in a while to keep him in line. He thinks he should be the Alpha Dog! He isn't even in the terrier group! I have to admit one thing though. Colt is a GREAT frisbee player.

It gets pretty hot in Florida. After Colt and I decide that I am still in charge, we are buddies again and we share a tall cool one.

This is me going over a jump. In my younger days, I liked to do agility and play flyball. I'm 11 now, so I retired.  My new job is protecting the food supply at the house.
ballet

I know that I don't look like a leader in this picture. The humans dressed me up in this ridiculous ballerina costume. They gave me lots of cookies, so we were all happy.

In January of 1995, my baby sister came to live with us. Her name is Clara and she is a brat. She bit my tail and played with my toys!

By the way. I am famous. I have appeared at grand openings, schools, and at Uncle Donald's Farm.
I demonstrate agility and flyball and greet my fans. If you would like to see my newspaper clippings, please click on the following link.

If you have any comments or questions, don't tell me! I am a dog! What do I know about HTML? You could go to my Dad's home page and tell him about it. I don't do the work. Since I am the leader of the pack, I just delegate.  Below are a couple of links that aren't included on the index buttons.
